California boasts an eclectic mix of K-12 charter, private, public and online schools, along with an impressive array of post-secondary institutions. Approximately 40,000 K-12 students in the state attended fully-online schools in 2014, and the California Community College (CCC) System, the largest community college system in the nation, adds new online programs and courses each year. Many four-year online colleges in California have experienced the same increase in demand.
